U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Training Center
Empowering the competitive excellence and well-being of Team USA athletes, championing the power of sport, and inspiring the nation. The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), founded in 1894 and based in Colorado Springs, serves as both the National Olympic and Paralympic Committee for the U.S., overseeing the selection and support of American teams for major international competitions. Uniquely, it is entirely privately funded and does not receive government support. Around 82% of its budget directly supports athletes and their governing bodies through programs including training, health services, education, and anti-doping efforts. The USOPC also manages the U.S. bidding process for hosting international sporting events and plays a central role in selecting team trials. In collaboration with athletes, governing bodies, and key partners, the USOPC drives America’s continued success and leadership in global sport.
