AbleVu is such a great accessibility tool, it allows me to see an environment before I go. This is important to me because I am a wheelchair user and it allows me to know that I will be able to get around and access the areas that I need to go and if I do see anything that I might have an issue with I can plan accordingly. I really wish more places had such in depth visual tours.

The tools provided by AbleVu allow our visitors to access comprehensive information to help plan their visit before they arrive. The profiles of our attractions and hotels include information and photographs about the accessibility features while also providing detailed virtual tours of the locations. We have received feedback from our visitors that these tools have impacted which locations they visit and how they plan their day while they are here.

AbleVu is a great resource for our guests visiting Potter Park Zoo. The site has furthered our accessibility initiatives by allowing guests to prepare for their visits ahead of time. Being able to have photos of our facility in one space has helped our families know what to expect. Providing information on seating, restrooms, sensory accommodations and so much more is important when being an inclusive organization. Every month we send our AbleVu page out to those that are attending our sensory friendly events and have it on our website all year round.
